Dr. Stephanie Gonzalez is a bilingual native of El Paso, Texas and understands her community’s bilingual and bicultural needs. Having experienced several foot surgeries herself, Dr. Gonzalez can relate to her patients and is an advocate for patient education as part of her patient’s individualized care plan.
Dr. Gonzalez received her Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas followed by her medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago.
Dr. Gonzalez received her residency training in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery at Raymond G. Murphy Veteran’s Affairs in Albuquerque, New Mexico and at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan.
She was trained extensively in all areas of foot and ankle pathology including trauma, forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, wound care as well as diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Gonzalez is board qualified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Gonzalez can be found outside on her road bike, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.”
